Attractions
Llandudno is so well situated for so many attractions its unbelievable.
To start we have two beaches at opposite ends of the town. Not
many resorts can boast that fact! The north shore is the main beach
and promenade, the west shore has a much sandier beach and is great
for all sorts of sports from beach rounder's to sand carting. The
pier, which is the longest in Wales is well worth a stroll along
at all times of the year.
The Great Orme is a wonderful place to explore with miles of footpaths
through nature reserves and at the same time hosts the longest
cable car in Britain (2 miles long). Not forgetting the Tram, which
celebrated its centenary four years ago.
Llandudno is a very musical town with a male voice choirs
singing somewhere in the town at least 3 times a week not
to mention
the “Songs
from the Musicals” which is a weekly event throughout
the summer.
If you have your own transport there is so much within easy reach
including Snowdon, and the Isle
of Anglesey.
If you prefer you can take one of the numerous coach trips available
daily. The shopping in town is getting better all the time, we
have a new retail park being built right at this moment and soon
you will be able to shop till you drop.
Boat trips are available during the summer around the bay.
We are also a great base for fishing, beach casting from the shore
and pier and boat trips available at Conwy.
Venue Cymru, (The new name for the Theatre) is only a 15-minute
walk away, and there are a variety of shows throughout the year
to suit everyone.
